Have you every had one of those times.Posted by Norma on Friday 1st June 2012 at 12:46:39
Hi, Have you ever had one period when things were going to slow, nothing much happening then suddenly you just do not have enough hours in the day to get everything done?
Well for the last few months, I had time on my hands to read a book, knit some baby cardigans for my daughter who was expecting twins.
Some days after cleaning the aviary's and cages I had time on my hands to do some other hobbies, give my house a good cleaning etc.
Now suddenly, there is not enough time to sit quietly and just have a cup of tea.
My daughter gave birth to the twins, both boys, one at 3.17kg the other 2.9Kg's.
She is getting home today, and I will be spending time with her and the babies as this is her first children, so I will be on hand in case she needs me. Her and her husband built their house next door to mine.
Now my eldest daughter phoned to say they have sold their house, so I am also designing and drawing the plans for a house to be built. I am also to build a model of the house, as she cannot picture it in her mind. She and her husband must now look for land in which put her new house on.
Last night my brother-in-law phoned me from the UK to say they are coming over for a visit and can I put them up.
On top of that I am hand-rearing baby Budgies, with more eggs in the nest boxes which may hatch soon.

7 baby Budgies that I am hand-rearing.
I also bought 12 more young Budgies and 6 young SHOW budgies, so they are also to be looked after, as well as my aviary birds.
The new budgies are in my bird room, as it is to cold to put them in the outside aviary.

SHOW BUDGIES

5 of the 12 young ones. More of the 12 young ones.
None of these new birds were hand-reared, so they are to bring new blood into my aviary's.
